I haven't checked all the various pages for posting and submitting stuff, but in what I have used, the Submit button is the right-most button. The others (Preview, etc.) are to the left of Submit, so my hand automatically heads to the right to click.
Except in the Profile, where the Submit button is on the left, and Reset on the right. Would it be possible to reverse the order of those two buttons? I think I've hit Reset at least twice, when I've meant to change something in my Profile, just because I'm on automatic for Submit on the right. |

I went through all of the styles that have been fully updated and made sure that the Submit button is always on the right in the Profile page. I will try to remember to do the same on future styles as I update them too. If you find any other pages that need this modification or any others, please don't hesitate to let me know...

Thank you so much!
Sorry this request means you have to fix it separately in every style, I'd hoped the change would be a one-time thing that would propagate itself to all the styles. |

The basic phpBB engine is used by all styles, but the layouts of each style is entirely up to the author. It is best that way, since it allows the authors to be as creative as they want to be. It does add an additional layor of complexity that needs to be maintained whenever there is a major change that affects the display of any template, but it's not a huge deal...
Most administrators only make a limited number of styles available to their members, so the changes aren't a big deal to them. I like to offer as many different options as possible, so that everyone can customize the look and feel of their community. We should be able to rearrange the furniture and paint the walls in our homes. IMHO, variety is a good thing even if it adds some additional complexity to the mix...
