Yes the monitor settings could be different enough to change the colors that we see. As you stated, the graphic card could too. There are a lot of variables. Regardless of whether it appears green or blue, Aeolus is still a pretty nice template...

The templates can have no effect on each other except that if a graphic is missing, a template can search in the default for a graphic of the same name. That's why the New and Reply buttons aren't changing from style to style...
