A gentle sea- like breeze
brushes against my face
as I walk out onto the balcony
like I am walking a plank to my Death.

A single thought occurs to me-
It is my time-
Somehow as though I fear it
Wait-
It is not Death that I fear, I welcome Him.

My last memory
as I am falling in slow motion,
Is the day that I knew
that I had become nothing in your eyes
as we both parted ways.

I lost you along with myself,
so I must be born again
to let you go.
It is my time-
once again,

To take flight.

This is so sad. I hope your life isn't dependent on how someone else feels, SE. Before you can truly love another, you need to be able to love yourself...

I watched a show called Medium about a psychic and who kept dreaming about a suicide victim who had jumped from a cliff to her death. On the radio in her dreams, the announcer claimed that most people who jumped and survived change their mind 2/3 of the way down. I wonder if there is any truth to that???

I love the way you can reveal your inner most thoughts through your poems...
