An old friend of mine died today
We hadn't spoke for many years.
'Cause we had a stupid argument
That brought us both to tears.
Can't even recall what it was about
But we let it kill our dear friendship
'Cause neither one would say sorry
And on our shoulders carried a chip.
Don't let stubborness and pride
Take away a friend from you.
Call and say I apologize
Don't wait 'til it's too late to do
No matter if your right or wrong
Respect the others views.
Friends are hard to come by
And so much easier to loose. |
