Her silky face against my mouth
I wish I could have it the rest of my life
but things are not as static
as we tend to think when in love

The bird upon my shoulder
is singing one of the songs
that I asked to be sung at one time
but not by the peaceful dove

I have her hand in mine
She looks at me and smiles
We both are walking slow
and no one can tell us to run

She kiss my cheek so softly
I suck it up out of greed
the heart is beating fast
her face is facing the sun

I’ll take her to the moon
where my friends are having fun
she doubts a while but then gives in
The bus is leaving now

We go to the party up there
where everyone sits still
but we go up and start to dance
but please don’t ask me how
