I know there are TVs with built in DVD player. Is there such a thing as a TV with a slot for a camera card?? I haven't been able to find one unless this is one ...
http://www.amazon.com/Coby-TF-DVD1595-15-Inch-720p-Combo/dp/B003820PYI
In the technical details it says: Plays digital media directly from USB flash drives and SD cards (not included)
Does that mean I can display pictures taken with a camera on the TV by inserting the camera card into a slot? I would go into a store and ask questions but after my last fiasco with the clock radio I want to avoid that until I know more.

I ended up buying this
RCA 19" Class LCD 720p 60Hz HDTV with Built-In DVD Player
The price was right, delivered free to my home and I used what was left on the $25 gift card I used to buy the clock radio.
Not what I would consider a great TV but good enough to lug around to show slide shows and old home movies.

you can burn photos to a cd or dvd and it will play as a slide show in many newer dvd players. Thats better than lugging a tv around. Don't you have a laotop yet? Or tablets/Ipads that are so popular now?
Anyway sounds like a nice tv, thats what we need for the kids room. |

Nope, no laptop or tablet or iPad. Maybe Santa will bring me one of those for Christmas. Anyway all those are rather small for showing a slide show or video to a group of people such as a family reunion. I have a Picture Frame that I have used at a funeral to show both slides and a video but it's viewing area is only about 7 inches.
And yes it IS a nice TV. Got it yesterday and it works great with DVDs. Nice size viewing area.
