Is there a chat room add on for phpBB ?

One of the alternatives to my main forum is EZ, and they ahve the ability to click through to a live chat room. (I find the EZ environment horrible btw).

I wondered if there was any facility that can be done from phpBB ?

I am using x7 chat on my board and it is 100% free. It uses your phpbb database and it shows a number next to the chat link of how many people are in the chat room. It's a pretty simple program and it works ok for me. You can find it at http://www.x7chat.com/

There is another chat program called 123flashchat but it's not free and it has many more features to the above one. I think there's one for about $5US and there's one a little more expensive. You can find more info at http://www.123flashchat.com/

We have two chat room MODs installed here. I don't remember the names of them, but I wasn't really thrilled with either one. There are many out there available for phpBB though.
