| My forum was spamming by another spammer.How do i delete that member on 1 times? Coz got less 100 new spammer register on my website.Any software for delete that all member with 1 time? Pls help. |

I know only the way to stop spammers(bots) to register on your forum and posting anything wrong but don't know how to delete all at once!

I found this MOD at phpBBHacks.com that might do the trick. I have never seen this MOD or tried to install it, so I can't tell you if the MOD works as advertised or not. It's worth a try though:
Admin Mass Delete Users
This hack adds a module to the admin panel that allows you to select and delete a number of users at the same time.
I modified the MOD script to be EM Friendly. You shouldn't have any trouble installing this version of the MOD:

| I found one over on phpbb hacks called Admin Delete User with All Postings that highly interest me as some of the spammers like to register and post 20 or more post and deleting each one at a time is quite tedious. |

The Textual Confirmation 1.0.1 mod is a good anti-spam mod which stops the majority of them registering in the first place! 
As to the human spammers well there's not much you can do apart from deleting them one by one
I suppose a lot of website traffic = spam aye  |

On another forum I tried to install this using EM but it came back with these errors

Yep, the filename is wrong. This is how you fix it:
OPEN
Admin_Mass_Delete_Users_100_em_friendly/install.txt
FIND
| Code:
|

copy language/lang_english/lang_admin_mass_delete_users.php to language/lang_english/lang_admin_mass_delete_users.php
|
REPLACE WITH
| Code:
|
|
copy language/lang_english/lang_admin_mass_user_delete.php to language/lang_english/lang_admin_mass_user_delete.php
|
Save, upload, and try again using EM...
I will fix the MOD script too...

Installed it on the aero club forum I manage. I'm sick of having to delete up to 10 spammers a day. I left it for a couple days and there were 25 new spammers, so this mod made quick work of deleting them.
I also installed it on my aviation forum. No problems at all. |
