Ok, so I've managed to install this son of a bleeeeeeeep  and got http://www.djpassions.com to load up the portal page and got http://www.djpassions.com/index.php to load up the forums. Which I’m guessing is the way it’ssupposed to work ??
I'm really not sure how you're meant to have these portals set up
Any suggestion/comments would be much appreciated  |

I've noticed then when on the forums and you goto Forum Index it takes you back to the homepage (portal) I guess thing aren't set up quite right yet lol
Someone help before the SEO that I've done goes down the shute |

Where does the block folder go? And the layout one? Is it just copied straight into each template folder??

copy the blocks folder to the /root/ folder on your host  |

I didn't either, and mine goes to my forums - I thought that might the reason 
I got mine here www.babydreamz.net/phpBB2/portal.php
I'm using 2 templates and its ok on both. I haven't set up any proper links yet though. |
