Hi Nightrider,
I am back to disturb you again but not purposely. I didn't even do anything. I just went to my vehicles ACP today morning and last night it was fine!
When i enter ACP, of left side column it says
| Code:
|
General Error
Couldn't obtain banlist information
DEBUG MODE
SQL Error : 1146 Table 'traders_vforum.REPORTS_TABLE' doesn't exist
SELECT * FROM REPORTS_TABLE
Line : 41
File : admin_reports.php
|
I don't know why it is saying like this even though I haven't installed any MODs or any code modification |

I can no longer log into your FTP Server, so I can't see what MODs that you have installed recently. But it appears that you installed a MOD that has some sort of reporting mechanism, but you failed to update the database with the included SQL queries. So you might want to check all MODs recently installed to see if they included a SQL update file that you need to run in your browser to update your database. That should logically be the first thing you check when you see a message that something doesn't exist in your database...
Actually upon second glance, it looks like a MOD was not correctly installed. The REPORTS_TABLE constant hasn't been defined in your includes/constants.php file or the constants.php file hasn't been included before attempting to run this query...

I don't remember which MOD needs report sql file to be run.
Btw, i changed the password of Cpanel and FTP because my partner left the site and now I am only alone to handle this site as well as all others. I have sent you my new password through PM so you can check the problem. |

Thanks AB. It's fixed now. I would never have noticed without you pointint it out, so I really appreciate it...
I don't see which MOD this came from. I'm guessing that it came from a MOD that you installed, then removed. I moved the admin_reports.php file to a tmp folder inside of your admin directory until we can determine where this came from. My guess is that you don't need it. There was no admin_reports.php file in your Funwadi admin folder...

Strange to me, i am confused too which MOD was it because the same MODs are there on live board and same on test board. Anyhow, after you have moved the file, it's working perfectly
Thanks |

If this was a MOD that you installed on your Test board then removed, then it is possible that the files included with the MOD would still be there. And if you never installed it on your Live board because you didn't like it and removed it from your Test board, then that would explain why it wasn't a problem on your Live board...

Actually you may have installed a MOD that either had different problems or you just didn't care for. So when you Restored the EM Backups, it undid the modifications made to your phpBB files. But since EM doesn't delete files from your server, then any files included with the MOD that were uploaded to your board would still be there. That would explain why the admin_reports.php file couldn't find the REPORTS_TABLE constant in your constants.php file. The code had been removed when you Restored the EM Backups...
This is a perfect example of why it is a good idea to manually delete any included MOD files from your board after Restoring the EM Backups. Most of the time, they won't affect you. But in a case like this where the ACP Navigation recognized the file and attempted to run it, then it caused a problem. But by removing the file from the admin folder, the problem is resolved...

Ahaan. I never knew that we have to remove the files of the MODs so now I think there will be 100 of files still there on my server of Removed MODs which i thought it have been removed by the EM only while restoring backups!
Thanks for letting me know |
