I just tried to install Topic Calender MOD and it installed smoothly without any error but on step 3 when i clicked Complete Installation so it gave me an error
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_ENCAPSED_AND_WHITESPACE, expecting T_STRING or T_VARIABLE or T_NUM_STRING in /home/traders/public_html/funwadi/forum/cache/mods_base/core_www.funwa di.com_forum_install_cal_install.php on line 703
Can you please fix this. I don't know either to remove this file or what do to
Whenever i install any big MOD, surely some big error comes to my board, don't know why... |

This is why I say that you should create a Test board to try these MODs first before attempting the installs on your Live board. It appears that you installed the Topic Calendar twice. The EM Backup files contained the Topic Calendar code, which shouldn't happen unless the Topic Calendar code is already in the files. This could happen if you reload the ACP while on EM's Step 3 of the MOD install. By refreshing/reloading the Step 3 page, it alters all the files a second time, thereby double installing the MOD code...
To fix this, I had to manually remove the Topic Calendar MOD code from your backup files since the backups were messed up too...

Yeah, i did a mistake. I should install first on the test board which i have already made it.
Double time installed! I really don't know how this was installed for twice!
If Topic Calender is installed now even once also, i don't see any link in the forum. So do i need to uninstall it |

I'm not a real big fan of Ptirhiik or his updated Topic Calendar MOD. It appears to cause problems on a lot of boards. When I removed the code from several files, I found that it wasn't correctly positioned in a few places, which would explain why it isn't appearing as it should...
The only way I know to double install a MOD without altering the Topic Title or version number is how I mentioned above. You probably reloaded/refreshed the ACP while EM was sitting on Step 3 of the MOD install. And your EM History seems to confirm that...
EM would not list this MOD in the EM Unprocessed list with these records in EM History, so there is no other way to reinstall the MOD without adjusting the MOD script...
AFAICT, the Topic Calendar is not currently installed on your Live board. Do you have it installed somewhere else? I don't see a Test board on your FTP Server...

| It is not installed on any board. But you can call www.pkvehicles.com/forum as a test board for now because there i haven't started promoting. So i can install there If you say so for testing. But it's not necessary to get installed on FunWadi if it creates lots of problem. I was just looking MODs and found that this is not installed so i tried it last night. |

If you can use the Vehicle board as a Test board for now, go ahead and install this there and see what happens. Since it is nearly identical to your Live board, then it would give you a good indicator of how the MOD will install on the Live board and if any problems arise, then we can adjust the code accordingly so that it will install correctly on both boards...

I copied the same folder from FW to vehicles forum of topic calender and than installed it by removing the backups folder n all. It gave only 1 error in overall_header which i fixed it and it installed
I really didn't click twice this time neither before i am sure because i kept my hands away after clicking every step.
The same error now it is giving on vehicles forum
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_ENCAPSED_AND_WHITESPACE, expecting T_STRING or T_VARIABLE or T_NUM_STRING in /home/traders/public_html/vehicles/forum/cache/mods_base/core_www.pkve hicles.com_forum_install_cal_install.php on line 703
So i am sure the problem is with the MOD script |

Which MOD did you install that uses that cache/mods_base folder???
I restored the EM Backups and all is back to normal again. This time, it was only single installed, so the backups were good...

This cache/mods_base is made through Marriage MOD. I don't know why marriage MOD needs all this rubbish to do
I don't know how it was installed twice last time and this time only once. |
