Hii

I just installed Face MOD (beta) Wink

on my board and nothing happened to it! I was wondering where is the options of this MOD to operate it. In the MOD there is 1 install file and 1 is SQL file separate. So while installation the SQL commands were not processed by EM because it's in the separate file.

Does that face_sql.txt file important ? If yes, how to work with that to make the Face MOD works on my board.

There are 14 included files with this MOD that need to be uploaded to your phpBB forum folder. The MOD author failed to include a COPY section to move these files, so either you need to Restore the EM Backups and add a COPY section or you need to manually move the included files into their proper locations. Once you copy the admin files to your admin folder, you will see a new category in your ACP probably called Face where hopefully you can adjust the settings for this MOD...

Also, all the SQL queries for this MOD are in a file named face_sql.txt. You will have to manually run these in phpMyAdmin or create a SQL Update file using something like MySQL to PHP Converter. If you use the latter option, you can upload the file to your phpBB forum folder and run it from your browser. Then you would want to delete the file from your phpBB forum folder...

I did everything. It came in ACP, i configured also but nothing happens in forum that a person can by dynamic avatar through fake cash (cash MOD)

I think this is useless MOD though. Can i uninstall it?

Yes, you can uninstall it. If you used EM to install it, simply Restore the EM Backups. Then you can go and delete all the included files that were uploaded to your forum. You shouldn't have to worry about the database modifications though...

Wow. Cool. I thought there will be some problem with the SQL file i ran. Btw, i have already deleted the SQL file i ran and now i will restore the EM backups and than delete the files which were uploaded of this MOD. Useless beta MOD though Very Happy

Yeah, most of the time I avoid Beta (Alpha) MODs like the plague. It just isn't worth it to me to debug and test their code for them...

Our Weather MOD was an Alpha MOD that was enhanced by one of our early members. Then I adjusted it more so that it would display in the Profile rather than the Index page. But other than that, I make few exceptions on Alpha/Beta MODs. There is just too much risk in most of them...
