Hello NightRider,

You knows about we were caught in providing illegal links and all. Still there are almost all the categories which can be said as illegal/copyrighted material. So to be safe and not to delete the topics/threads/posts we decided to add paypal subscription MOD through which a person can only enter that area by paying money and no one can say that inside that there is something illegal stuff! and now any one can say because everyone can access it easily and free.

I downloaded the version 1.0.0.3 from the MOD author's website and the script is too long to paste here. I added in MODs folder and it gave me around 12-15 critical error files! from which i fixed almost all and left with 5 errors and I thought i will make very much simplified and it will make problems later Very Happy

so i didn't touch that files.

Can you fix/install those files whenever you get the time so we can try out that MOD and see what is the review of members as how they react after looking this subscription feature.

The PayPal MOD is installed on your forum. It was a messy MOD to install too. You will need to adjust the settings in Group Admin and General Admin and you will have to assign members to pay groups and assign those groups to private forums for this all to work...

Thanks a lot. Yeah, that was difficult MOD to be installed. Too many errors. OoOps, it's configuration is too much Very Happy

Now i will go for prayers and after coming back i will look into it deeply.

Under Group Admin, Management, I tried to configure and click Submit and on next page the configuration didn't got saved and it said

I tried to search that thing also which MOD description says that Common member can not read, post or search content in restricted forums. I don't know how to make some categories of my forum restricted! dontknow

Yes, there was a syntax error in the SQL query. The comma just before the WHERE shouldn't have been there, so I removed it in your admin_groups.php file. So this should work correctly for you now...

Oh my God! Only for comma it makes this much trouble!!! Woops!

By the way brother, If I want a user not to enter in for example Ladies section and wants that person to pay first and enter so there is no option i can find in ACP where i can restrict a single forum. Like the MOD description says that

Common member can not read, post or search content in restricted forums. I don't know how to make some categories of my forum restricted! dontknow

I am still unable to find dontknow

where can i restrict any particular category. For example i want a user to enter in English Songs section and to enter they need to subscribe. I don't know where is that option to make it enabled so that a user will subscribe it and they will be allowed to enter in English Songs section. dontknow

Here's how you set it up. In Forum Admin Permissions, you can set the View, Read, Post, Reply settings to Private:

Then in Group Admin, create a New Payment Group:

Then in Group Permissions, set the appropriate forum to Allowed Access for the new Payment Group:

Then only those who belong to that Group will be able to see the forum...
