Hi Nightrider,
I installed the User Notes mod located here.
Ran the SQL and had no issue's installing the rest. But when clicking on save/update it only directs you right back to the notes.php screen. Nothing happens when you click on reset. So no notes are being stored. Any idea's? |

Sounds as though it isn't storing the data in the database.
I don't have enough experience to help you out, but I'm sure NR can give it a good shot

Thanks Poomie, that's what it looks like to me. I had no problems running the SQL and I did look over the notes.php file, but I do not know enough to see if there is maybe something missing in the notes.php file, or if maybe the SQL statement is out of date since it's a pretty old mod.
If I had an error I could at least do my googling, but I don't think this mod is used all that often anymore as I can't find any conversations about it.
Hopefully Nightrider will be able to see where the problem lies.
Oh, and I thought I should add to Nightrider, if you think there is a better user notes mod available right now I am up for suggestions. I only added this because it was linked to me and asked to install. If there is a better one I am sure she would be fine with that. |

It could be notes.php isn't sending the information to store in the database.
I'm not sure.
Yup, Nightrider should be able to sort this

I think the following is a better Notes MOD. This is what we have installed here in RCF and it allows unlimited notes where as the one you installed only allows one per member:
user_notes_mod_113.zip
To see this in action, you can click on the My Notes option in the top menu...
