Well its been 4 hours now, ive been trying everything everyone else has on this board and i still can't get it to work. So its time to call in the Big guns!!
Basically i have set all files permissions, uploaded everything in the right place and everything is named correctly!
But when i got to actually install the following happens!
First I Can get to the install screen...
So i click submit....
Here i can set my ftp access which i do. I know i have ftp access to my site as thats how i access it..
But for some reason this gives the same error as the way im going to do it below.
If i click rescan it tells me my settings are ok to install it straight away. So i do this.
I enter my password as it asks....
Then it confirms that everything is ok and works....
Then it tells me what its going to do. So i click continue at the bottom of the page.
Then it throws me back to the index of my forum and absolutely nothing has changed. The files are still where they were to start with, and i have no control panel in my forums admin.
The same happens when i select the ftp options and do it that way. Even when i go advanced and set it to dowload my files so i can upload them.
Below is the debug report. If anyone can shed any light i'd be most gratefull, its been 4 hours tonight and plenty of other attempts in the past. Im nearly at breaking point.

From the looks of it, you failed to provide a path to your board. Since it looks like your forum is installed under the public_html folder without a folder of its own, the path to your board would be public_html and nothing else. Let me know if this resolves your problem...

Hi, thanks for the quick reply!
Tried that and still no luck!
I've even tried changing my file attributes to 777 and it wont work (changed back now).
I can't think of anything else it can be as the installation does not show any errors. |

Ok, try this. First post your EM Debug Information here. Also, when installing the MOD, select the FTP Debug Mode to Yes so hopefully it will give us a better idea of what is going wrong:

Could you post the Debug Info that EM creates for you? Click on the Display Debug Info link:
Then copy and paste the Debug Info page here in your message. Do not embed it between code bbcode tags. The Debug Info page is already formatted to display correctly in your message...

1) Logged in successfully

2) CD to EasyMOD path successfully
3) wrote to phpBB root successfully

But alas after pressing complete on step 3/5 it bins me straight back to my index again. |

Have you removed any alternate templates from your FTP Server. I see that EM tried to upload files to your AcidTechBlood template. If you have deleted any templates from your FTP Server but failed to remove them in your ACP Styles Admin section, that could cause a problem like this too. So check in Styles Admin in your ACP to make sure that there are no templates installed there that no longer exist on your FTP Server...

| Try changing php FTP Extension to [NO] which is in the Advanced FTP Settings. I had the same problem before but selecting [No] corrected the problem. Doing this may work for you too... |

| Nah no joy with that either mate. I even deleted all the styles bar subsilver in the acp and on my actual webspace. Still the same problem as above. |

No joy with that either mate!
I have even created a extra ftp account with unlimited access and this has not worked either!
Thanks for the suggestion tho, you never know there may be a way of getting it to work! |
