Hi Nightrider,
Is there a way we can eliminate the automatic refresh of the Fully Integrated Shoutbox located here to help cut back on the database queries it sends when refreshing? |

In your shoutbox_view_body.tpl file stored in each of your template folders, you can change the following default setting:
OPEN
templates/subSilver/shoutbox_view_body.tpl
FIND
REPLACE WITH
Since I don't see any code that sets this value, the new default of 0 (False) should stop the auto refresh functionality...

I looked around and didn't see any other code that could be used to refresh the page. Let me know if this works...

I am keeping my eye on it and it seems to have worked perfectly. No automatic refreshing, and still working correctly otherwise.  |

| Is this the same brother what I want? I want my shoutbox not to refresh too! and when a user types message it should come at a time. Is this the same thing so i can do the same also? |

Yes, if you don't want it to automatically refresh, you could do the exact same thing that FTM just did...

| So if i will do the same what you told FTM than it will stop refreshing automatically and people need to click Refresh button everytime!! ? |
