I've been looking around on the phpbb mods knowing that there is one that hides fields during registration but I'm confused as to which one(s) to use.
I see one that hides the website field but I thought I read somewhere there was one that let admins choose what fields to hide.
What I am wanting to do is.....
Hide both the website and signature fields.
Not allow the new members name to show up on the ' our newest member ' till they have made a certain amount of post.
or something that combines that. I have read about both but am lost as a goose how to make this happen the easiest way. |

I remember that mod as well and I did try it but it also caused alot of problems with my board so I had to remove it. I tried to look for it but could not find it maybe it had to many bugs in it and they removed it.
I did find one that will remove members sigs http://www.phpbb.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=222164
I have a mod that I installed that stopped new members from showing up in the our newest member is - It will show them once they actvate their acct. I tried to look for it but so far I have not found it will look more later on for ya. |

Just letting you know I've seen your msg. Thanks...That one does look pretty good. But I noticed a lot of people said it was affecting people other than the intended, I think they fixed that though.
I'll be searching around over there.
I had a spammer come in the other day and left a coupon in his signature, I"M THE ONLY ONE allowed coupons. Guess it had something to do with allowing HTML. Thankfully that one hasn't came back but I have 2 others that will be back on the board within hrs of being banned. Weird part is they don't activate, their email doesn't work and their website doesn't load.........Sooooooo what is their point? |
